We have posted a full review of the THRESHOLD T2 preamplifier.
We agree that it is not a new preamp, but it was ranked in the "class A" category by the US magazine Stereophile, and providing that you can get it for <2.000$ on the U.S. market, its musicality/price ratio is really impressive!
particularly if you compare with what you get for 2.000$ in a shop today...
